How to play
Sixth Second is a game of timing. Stop the hidden clock at exactly the right moment — to the millisecond. The running timer is hidden, so you have to feel it. Land it perfectly and you’re “on the dot.”
The modes
- Daily Challenge — one shared puzzle of five stops a day, the same for everyone. Finish it to keep your streak and share your emoji grid.
- Press — stop the hidden clock on the target. Chase a best.
- Guess — watch the dot run, then say how long it lasted.
- Relay — one run, several checkpoints; tap on the beat.
- Party — pass-and-play for 2–8; the lowest total miss wins.
Frequently asked
How do I remove ads?
Open Settings (the gear) and tap Remove Ads — a one-time purchase that removes all banner and full-screen ads forever.
I bought Remove Ads but the ads came back.
Open Settings and tap Restore Purchase. Make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple ID you used to buy it. Restoring is free and re-applies your purchase.
Why is the Daily the same for everyone?
The Daily Challenge is generated from the calendar day, so every player gets the identical five targets. That’s what makes comparing your emoji grid with friends fair.
I lost my streak — why?
The streak counts consecutive days you complete the Daily Challenge. Miss a day and it resets. Time zones follow your device’s local date.
My scores aren’t on the leaderboard.
Leaderboards use Apple Game Center. Make sure you’re signed in to Game Center in iOS Settings. Party mode is local pass-and-play and isn’t submitted to global leaderboards.
Can I make the timer visible?
Yes — Settings lets you show the running timer for practice. The “real” game keeps it hidden so you’re trusting your inner clock.
