Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 15, 2026
The short version. Sixth Second has no accounts and no sign-up. The app itself does not collect personal information about you. It shows ads and uses privacy-friendly analytics through the third-party services described below, and it does not track you across other apps or websites.
Information the app collects
Sixth Second’s own code stores your settings, stats, streak, and best scores on your device only (in standard iOS storage). That information never leaves your device through us and is removed when you delete the app.
Third-party services
To run the game we rely on a few established services. Each handles data under its own privacy policy:
- Google AdMob (advertising) — serves non-personalized ads only. We do not request Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA), so the app shows no “tracking” permission prompt. AdMob may process limited device and usage information to deliver and measure ads and to prevent fraud and abuse. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
- TelemetryDeck (analytics) — a privacy-focused analytics service that helps us understand aggregate usage (for example, which modes are popular). It does not store raw device identifiers and is designed not to identify individuals. See TelemetryDeck’s Privacy Policy.
- Apple Game Center (leaderboards) — optional. If you are signed in to Game Center, your scores are submitted to the game’s leaderboards under your Game Center identity, handled by Apple.
- Apple App Store / StoreKit (purchases) — processes the optional one-time “Remove Ads” purchase. Apple handles the transaction; we never see your payment details.
How information is used
- To deliver and measure non-personalized ads, and prevent fraud.
- To understand aggregate, anonymized usage so we can improve the game.
- To provide optional leaderboards through Game Center.
- To process the optional “Remove Ads” purchase and restore it on your devices.
Tracking
We do not track you across apps or websites and we do not sell your data. Because we serve non-personalized ads and never request the IDFA, the app does not present an App Tracking Transparency prompt.
Children’s privacy
Sixth Second is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will address it.
Your choices
- Buy “Remove Ads” to stop seeing advertisements entirely.
- Adjust ad and privacy settings at the device level in iOS Settings.
- Skip signing in to Game Center if you prefer not to submit scores.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the new version on this page.
